Our church is pleased to have been blessed by the musical talents of Lisa Snow, Director of Music and organist. We are also thrilled to have piano accompaniment from Brian Haverstock, and vocals and piano accompaniment from Ginny Manuel.
First Baptist Church Hammonds Plains is a very
musical church. Music plays an important role in worship and fellowship.
The church appreciates blending both old and new musical traditions, and
invites those who enjoy both traditional hymns and contemporary
Christian music to join our music ministry.
The church has an adult choir that sings during
regular worship services, as well as during special services, such as
seasonal events and funerals. The church has also enjoyed youth
contemporary Christian bands in past years, and welcomes youth
involvement in its music ministry. Our church welcomes many different vocal styles, and has enjoyed performances by bluegrass singers The Frails, children's choirs, and contemporary music. All are encouraged to worship with us in song.
